MY IN LAWS



Not only did I have the best time with my in laws in this weekend, I also got to know each of them so much more. Every time that we come up to SLC, we always have a Sunday eating then a family meeting right after. Ifa Lahi always conducts, he starts off with a lesson, then he goes into talking about birthdays, and things that we all need to plan for, then afterwards he bears his testimony and we go around the room in order, from youngest to oldest, and we all say something. Because Kel is the youngest we always start first, I hate it cause I never feel like crying. Usually after Anna talks, then the rest of the speakers all cry! LOL! But this time the crying started first, with me! LOL!!! And no, I don't cry pretty. I remember the millions of talks that I used to have with my dad and because I was always crying, I couldn't talk. Usually when I cry and talk, it is kind of scary cause I can't control any of my emotions and I start doing that thing that the the girl on HITCH does when will smith shows her the grandfathers name in the book at the museum. LOL!!! yeah that's totally me! But I think I did pretty good. I just remember feeling so strong about what I was saying. That was that I was so grateful for every ones help in planning and executing jaidas eating and blessing. I finally told them how I really felt... The are MY FAMILY. In law is just a word to describe how we are related but really, the Motuliki's are my family. I have always had a step mother and a step father along with a mother and father, but I have never established a bond as strong as the bond I share with my in laws. I love them so much. They set such a perfect example of how I want my family to be. That's why I always like to talk with Connie, I try and figure out her hidden secret! LOL, but the secret is the Church of Jesus Christ. The foundation of this family is true LOVE and acceptance of each other no matter how imperfect they are. They are a FAMILY and nothing will ever break us apart. Not disappointment, lies, money, MILES, or even sin. Similar to the love that Heavenly Father has for us is the kind of love that cements the bond between us, of course we don't have the perfect love of Christ, but that is why we all relate so much to each other. I'm so grateful to my family for sharing their love to me and our new baby girl.
So as you know, all us sisters and sister in laws played a little game of TRUTH OR DARE...but after a couple hours we just called it truth. It was honestly the best girls night that I've ever had. You guys are probably thinking..."uh what a loser!" but it was all mee! I have never been to a club, so I don't know what kind of fun girl night that is (next time LOL), but this was seriously a night to remember. I honestly answered every question. Questions were asked that I have never even thought about, so sometimes I had to really DIG deep into myself to find the answer. But I want to thank all of you for answering honestly, so that we all could know and understand each other better. We started at about 10:30 pm and I didn't get back to the hotel till 5:30am! LOL Kel was SOOOOOO MADD! And I was so mad at him! But really, I think the best part was getting to know each of them MORE and MORE, almost TOO MUCH! LOL. But I really enjoyed getting to know Lina. She is the REALEST girl that I have ever met. I wish that I could be a real as her, I love her! Okay YALL!! That's my IN LAW post! I'm sure in due time, I will grow closer and closer to them, and I truly can't wait. But no, we wont do that by moving up there, sorry! LOL we will just do it while we are here and you are there!!!
